Yoruba Youths, Leaders Storm Ibadan To Demand Freedom

It was gathered today that some Yoruba youths and leaders gathered at the front of Mapo hall today to start their protest for the agitation of Oduduwa nation.

It was reported that the protest is championed by a Socio-political Yoruba group called Ilana Omo Oodua and graced with the presence of other Yoruba Socio-political groups.

The agitation of the group is for the creation of Oduduwa nation. One of their leaders in the protest Bashorun Kunle Adesokan who started his own speech with a song that goes thus:

E ma ma lewa n'ile baba wa

Oto lohun ti a ro, Oto lohun ti a ba

E ma ma lewa n'ile baba wa.

While addressing the protesters he said "Yoruba have suffered enough, we are not in support of the 2023 elections. We are telling all politicians not to contest, they should not contest to waste their money.

King Yomi too while addressing the crowd. He said, "On this agitation that we have embarked on there is no going back." He further said that they are not meant to use war as a means of agitating for their self determination, that it is due process they are going to follow in making sure that Oduduwa nation become achievable.

The protest witnessed the attendance of Yoruba youths and leaders, and what they all preached was to make sure that Oduduwa nation become a reality.

They said the Yorubas in diaspora as being working on their own parts too. By telling the international communities that the Yorubas need their freedom.

They added that in little time now there will be a signal of international organization support. They said when the international organization has intervened. Then, a date will be picked for the referendum of the Yoruba nation creation.
