Premier League Top 10 Goal Scorers Of All-time As Harry Kane Inches Closer To Surpassing Thierry Henry, Lampard

Tottenham star Harry Kane got two more goals on Friday, April 16 to take his total tally in the Premier League to 164 goals.

When the England striker was starting out some six years ago, many people thought he would end up being a one-season wonder.

But that has been far from the case, and the 27-year old has established himself as one of the most lethal strikers in world football today. His brace against Everton on Friday took his tally for the season to 21 goals, and he is currently leading the pack in the top scorer charts.

An ankle injury he suffered could offer Mo Salah (19 goals) a chance to surpass him this season, but even if he does, one cannot take anything away from Kane’s efforts this season.

This is especially due to the fact that the striker has also been quite prolific in the assist department and has turned into goal provider on numerous occasions this season.

In terms of the Premier League record for all-time goals scored, Kane reached a personal milestone on Friday as he surpassed Robbie Fowler and is now in position 7 in the all-time list.

Bizarrely, though, Kane also has a unique record as being the player with the most Premier League goals on the list without winning a Premier League title. And his wait is set to go on as Spurs are embroiled in a fight for Europe, with their only chance at silverware being in the Carabao Cup where they face Manchester City in nine days’ time.

The all-time Premier League goalscorer is still Newcastle legend Allan Shearer with 260 goals and as it stands, only Kane has a real chance of beating that record especially since other candidates are either retired or en route out of the Premier League.

The top 10 players with the most goals in the Premier League are:

1. Allan Shearer with 260 goals.

2. Wayne Rooney with 208 goals.

3. Andy Cole with 187 goals.

4. Sergio Aguero with 181 goals.

5. Frank Lampard with 177 goals.

6. Thierry Henry with 175 goals.

7. Harry Kane with 164 goals.

8. Robbie Fowler with 163 goals.

9. Jermaine Defoe with 162 goals.

10. Michael Owen with 150 goals.
