CONGRATULATIONS MR NANS PRESIDENT BY COMRADE OLUSHOLA OLADOJA
Distinguished Comrade Danielson Bamidele Akpan (GCNS), I wholeheartedly congratulate you for adding another year today. I celebrate God's faithfulness over your life, in addition to the magnificent leadership, excellence and prowess that you have exhibited during your tenure as the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS). Your humility, doggedness, integrity, quest for educational excellence and Godfearing nature demonstrates exemplary attributes that should be embedded in leadership. On such a day as the remembrance of your birth, I appreciate God on your behalf and wish you greatness, more laurels, immeasurable heights, and many blessings.
Subsequently, I laud the Secondary School Essay initiative that you put together to encourage writing and apt readership among students across secondary schools. This initiative is one that is worthy of emulation and replication at the level of tertiary institutions. Your vision and foresight, through this programme, prepares upcoming students for the task of engaging prominent socio-political debates, exceptional learning, and informed arguments and juxtapositions when they transition into higher institutions of learning. I commend you greatly for achieving this feat. I also congratulate the winner of the inaugural essay competition, Comrade Nkereuwem, for his success and emergence as the NANS President for 24 hours. Your success in this inaugural essay competition that was keenly contested is a sign that emerging young Nigerians are full of potentials to robustly engage and contribute to the growth and development of various sectors in the Nigerian society. We need to jointly support them and provide the most conducive environments for them to thrive.
As I celebrate the multiple accomplishments of the NANS President, I, therefore, call upon leaders at different strata throughout the country to learn from his innovation, resolve to promote positive changes, and dexterity to lead as a good example for ensuring that their decisions and actions benefit citizens and advance Integral development for them. I continue to wish you well, Mr President, as I pledge my solidarity and support for your leadership.
