NAPS CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO PROFESSOR MOHAMMED S. ATURETA.

The leadership of the National Association of Polytechnic Students have congratulated the newly appointed Rector of the prestigious Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja Professor Mohammed S. Atureta. According to the National President of the Association, Comrade Mohammed Eneji, the appointment is timely and well deserving owing to fact that the personality of the new Rector is unstained due to his past antecedents. We want to appreciate the Executive Governor of Kogi State, in person of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for taking his time to appoint a substantive and a student friendly Rector for the polytechnic. We equally want to thank the leadership of NBTE led by Dr M.A Kazaure and for facilitating his appointment. We believe that it a beginning of a new dawn in Kogi Poly especially in the area of Infrastructure and academic excellence. We wish Prof Mohammed a successful tenure of office as we look forward to a much more cordial working relationship and collaboration with NAPS in order to attain a successful administration.

It will be recalled that The governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has approved the appointment of a new rector for Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.
Professor Aturera, who hails from Okene Local Government Area of the State, was until his appointment a lecturer in the department of Mathematics Science, Abubakar Balewa University Bauchi.
The appointment, according to the statement, takes effect from 1st January, 2018.
