Osun Student Leader Feared Missing Days After SUG Elections

VAM News Recalls that Osun State Polytechnic, Iree had last week held her students' union elections for 2021 to elect the new student' leaders in the polytechnic.
Days after the conclusion of the institution' Student Union Government elections, a student identified as Adewunmi Oluwatobi Emmanuel has been reported missing.
Adewunmi Emmanuel, who is an HND 1 student of the department of Electrical Engineer with matric number 19/EEH/1036 who is his class governor served as General Secretary of Independent Student Electoral Commission (ISEC) until he was declared missing.
It was unclear if he had been kidnapped but a report by a fellow student of the polytechnic, Hammed Muideen Adetunji said, Oluwatobi was reported missing after the conclusion of the SUG election on Thursday, having with him the ISEC money closely #300,000.
“The ISEC Chairman (Sir Bidas) said to us in his report that he called him serval time on Friday 29_01_2021 to come give account of the money with him, but they wasn’t any response.
“Also went to his hostel at Oladoja, on getting there he was told he already moved out of his hostel. He also told us he went to check on him in the examination hall yesterday if he’ll be there, but oluwatobi is nowhere to be found.
“Now the question on everyone’s lips is WHERE IS THE ISEC GEN SEC”? he wrote.
