Monkeys attack lab, steal patients COVID-19 samples

According to a report, a laboratory Assistant was attacked by Monkeys, and the Monkeys took away a batch of coronavirus tests samples.

The troop of monkeys were said to have launched the assault near Meerut Medical College in Delhi, India and the COVID-19 test samples of three patients were taken away by the Monkeys.

The report added that one of the Monkeys was later seen in a tree, chewing one of the sample collection kits. The samples of the patients has to be retaken, since the animals has taken away the previous ones.

Monkeys have been residing at places where human beings stay for the last two months in Delhi, due to the lockdown order that was put in place in order to curtail the spread of the novel coronavirus.

This have compelled the highly intelligent, red-faced rhesus macaques, to continue being an increasing problem in the urban areas of the country.
