Yobe state records first case of COVID-19 since February as Mai Mala Buni yet to respond

Yobe State has recorded its index Coronavirus case, VAM News reports.
This was confirmed by NCDC officials during its daily update on its tweeter handle.
VAM News confirmed that Yobe state, has reported a case for the first time since the beginning of the outbreak in February 2020, bringing to 34, the states in Nigeria with at least a case of the disease.

This brings the number of states affected by the virus to 35 including the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, according to data from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday night.
The Yobe state Government is yet to respond to the confirmation of positive case released by the NCDC.
Our correspondent confirmed that, only Cross River and Kogi state were the two states yet to confirm any COVID-19 case in the country.
