COVID-19: Residents troop out as Oyetola suspend Lockdown free days

VOICE AIR Media reported yesterday, that Osun State governor, Ogbeni Gboyega Oyetola on Tuesday, has announced the extension of the COVID-19 lockdown for additional 14 days in the state.
According to report, Governor Oyetola has relaxed today and Thursday for the Osun residents to stock food stuffs at home.
Oyetola said the decision was imperative in view of the devastating nature of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a broadcast by the governor of the state of Osun, Mr. ADEGBOYEGA OYETOLA, on the imposition of the second lockdown in the fight against Coronavirus outbreak obtained by VOICE AIR MEDIA.
VAM recall that, following the confirmation of the first case of Coronavirus in the State of Osun on March 25, 2020 by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, the government ordered a partial lockdown on the State to contain the spread of the deadly virus. The second case was recorded three days later, while the partial lockdown was still on.
Meanwhile, after arrival of 127 returnees from Ivory Coast shortly after the second case. That sporadically shot the number of persons in isolation from two to 129, necessitating the imposition of a two-week sit-at-home order which came into effect midnight March 31, 2020 to contain the spread of the virus and keep our people safe.
While 10 out of the remaining 17 patients who tested positive for Coronavirus have tested negative twice and have been released to join their families.
The remaining seven that tested positive, are receiving adequate treatment at our facility, in Ejigbo, Osun state.
The residents of Osun state today troop out in mass to carry out their daily business, activities and to stock food stuffs at home.
Recall that the State government has declared today and tomorrow a free movement day in the state,VOICE AIR Media reports.
