COVID-19: Inter state travel, Motor parks to be banned - FG Declares
The Federal Government has announced plans to ban inter-state travel and possibly close down motor parks as part of measures to curtail the spread of the Coronavirus.
Minister for Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed said this at an ongoing press briefing in Abuja, on Thursday.
He made the comment in reaction to reports that the number of people who have tested positive to the deadly disease has hit 51.
“It is now time for enforcement,” he said.

Voiceairmedia recall that Some residents of Lafia, in Nasarawa have urged the Federal and State Governments to put in place measures to halt inter-state transportation so as to minimise the spread of the coronavirus across the country, Voiceairmedia reports.
The residents gave their opinions in separate interviews with Newsmen on Tuesday in Lafia, Nasarawa state.
