APC suspends NEC indefinitely as Appeal Court returns Oshiomhole as Chairman
The All Progressives Congress’ (APC) National Executive Council (NEC) meeting slated for Tuesday has been suspended indefinitely.
The suspension of the NEC was one of the agreements reached during the meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and Governors on the platform known as the Progressive Governors’Forum (PGF) at the State House today.
Meanwhile, an appeal court sitting in Abuja has set aside a ruling of FCT High Court suspending the APC National Chairman Comr Adams Oshiomhole from performing his duties.
The panel headed by Justice Idris which commenced sitting by 4:00pm on Monday, in a unanimous decision agreed with the appellant that the suspension was unlawful.
Consequent upon this ruling vacating the FCT High court order, Comr. Oshiomhole remains the authentic chairman.
