Missing Child: Court transfers Prophet Babatunde of Sotitobire church, others to High Court
Magistrate Adeyanju of the Akure Chief Magistrate Court today transfered the child abduction case against the founder of Sotitobire Church in Akure, Prophet Alfa Babatunde, and four others to the Ondo State High Court for further hearing.
Alfa Babatunde and other accused persons were brought before Magistrate Adeyanju today in continuation of the criminal case made against them by the Directorate of Security Service.
During today's hearing, Adeyanju notified the court that the case has been referred to the High Court, adding that the accused persons should further remanded in the Prison facilities at Olokuta, Akure.
The case will now be heard by a judge of the state High Court on a date to be communicated to the DSS and the accused persons.
Meanwhile, Alfa Babatunde who looked depressed as his long hairs and beards had been cut off by prisons officials waved at his church members from inside the part is on bus he was sitting, asking them to keep praying for him.
