TRAGEDY: Tears as popular students leader, Yemi Likedat dies in auto crash

Popular Oyo state comrade identified with NANS, Comrade Yemi Adeniran popularly addressed as 'Likedat' on Thursday morning was involved in a ghastly motor accident on his way from Abuja after attending the Supreme Court judgement that re-affirmed Engineer Seyi makinde as Governor of Oyo state, on Wednesday.

According to crash report, the deceased had accident at a location called "Adegbayi" around Ibadan after leaving Abuja to witnessed the Supreme Court judgement between Adelabu and Governor makinde of Oyo state.

Likedat had travelled on Tuesday evening to Abuja city.

Yemi Likedat was a graduate of Geology from Ibadan polytechnic and survived by wife and child, and hail in Ibadan, Oyo state.

" Truly, death is inevitable!

Few days ago, we all celebrated our very vibrant comrade on the occasion of his birthday! Today, he is no more.

This is shocking! During his lifetime, he was a combatant and lionhearted Union leader whose invaluable contributions to students movement cannot be overemphasized.

Kappo, on behalf of the south west students hereby register the condolences and also pray incessantly to God Almighty to give the family, friends and associates of tge deceased the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss."
