First Female National President of Imo State Students: reactions towards abolishment of free education in Imo
•IMO STUDENTS GET FIRST FEMALE NATIONAL PRESIDENT
The national union of Imo state students (NUISS) which is the apex umbrella body governing all students of Imo state origin in Nigeria and diaspora today, Friday; 15th November 2019 elected Comr. Kosarachi Philipa Mbachu; a 300 level student of Imo state university as NUISS National president, VAM News reports.
Comr. Kosarachi who is from Ehime Mbano LGA of Imo state scored 301 votes to defeat her closest rival; Comr. Obi Joshua; a student of Alvan Ikoku federal college of Education, Owerri, who scored 190 votes, Comr. Gilbert Okoroigwe of the federal university of technology,Owerri scored 142 votes to come 3rd in the presidential election.
This is the first time in so many years that Imo state students through their local government delegates and school representatives are voting to have a lady emerge as NUISS national president.
KosarachiMost of the students at the election venue noted that Imo state students will be facing a very difficult time in history if the rumoured abolishment of the free education been enjoyed by Imo state students in Imo state owned schools happen to be true and only a dogged comrade leader like Comr. Kosarachi can ensure a better bargain for Imo state students.
According to security operatives at the venue, the NUISS 7th republic election that just produced Comr. Kosarachi as the national president-elect is the most peaceful, free and fairest election ever recorded in the studentdom.
Comr. Marvis Ugonna emerged as national vice president, Comr. Agbaghara Favour as Minister of transport, Comr. Adaugo Madumere as Vice president Special duties, comr. Odimegwu Ugochukwu as Minister for Information, amongst others.
The NUISS national chancellor, Hon. Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel was an observer. Comr. Obiefule charles was the chief electoral returning officer for the NUISS 7th republic convention.

NAISS CALLS FOR TOTAL DISREGARD TO THE SO CALLED NUISS, G.T SAMUEL AND MISS KASARACHI FRAUDULENT AND FALSEHOOD AGAINST THE IMO STATE GOVERNMENT & IMO STUDENTS
Our attention has been drawn to the fraudulent act, internet falsehood, manipulation and hate speech against the Imo State Government and Imo Students published by VAM NewsOnline credited to one Comr. Kosarachi Philipa Mbachu who claims to be the President of one illegal group called NUISS under the directive and manipulation of one G.T Samuel.
We as NAISS being the legitimate apex body of Imo Students do hereby state:
1. Disclaim the false claims of the so called NUISS parading to be the body regulating the affairs of Imo Students, as their claims are false and have no legal stand anywhere under this planet.
2. Refute and debunk the internet falsehood statement by the deceived Comr. Kosarachi Philipa Mbachu of the so called NUISS with her purported rumour of the abolishment of free education in Imo State and those that know the uninformed Miss KASARACHI should go for her Rescue as she has emerged the latest victim of G.T Samuel who is a flasher, a female mobilizing contractor and a society nuisance.
As a matter of clarity and legitimacy, may it be known to all citizens of Imo State and Nigeria that the National Association of Imo State Students (NAISS) is the only legal apex body of all Students of Imo State origin schooling in Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechniques, Colleges of education/technology and other allied institutions, cutting across Nigeria and diaspora with a splinter of the Executive arm, the Legislative arm and the Traditional Council.

ReplyDeleteNAISS as the voice of Imo Students is equipped and charged in all ramifications to propagate and legalize a lasting invocate and jealous legacy as it regards to the problems facing our beloved State and Nation as a whole. It is in our effort to foster a societal change and development as NAISS is not partisan or affiliated to any specific political party and as the case may be.
Moreso, the NAISS National Executives do not have any faction as the NAISS incumbent National Executives are still within their tenure of service and are currently working effectively to seeing that Imo Students and their welfare are part of the foremost agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, the Executive Governor of Imo State. Also the plans for a new National Convention is on course and will manifest before the tenure of the NAISS current Executives comes to an end.
May we speak bold that His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Imo State, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha is already on the move to make the Educational Sector of the State a thing that can be accessible and gainful to Tom, Dick and Harry. It is crystal clear that the Imo State Governor has inaugurated Visitation Panels designed to visit Imo schools for proper verification of the Educational status of Imo institutions.
A witness to the tireless effort of NAISS on the part of Imo Students is the workaholic S.A. to the Imo Governor on Youth Affairs, Hon. Rex Okoro whose Office is already on the bid to attain the emancipation of Imo Students and Youths from dilemma left behind by previous regime on Students Affairs.
Sequel to this internet falsehood, manipulation and hate speech by this anti democrats, NAISS as the only legal & lawful apex body of Imo Students do humbly frown at this unconstitutional act portrayed by the so called NUISS group and her proprietor (G.T Samuel) and we equally beseech the quick legal sanction & dissolution of the cohorts and so called group.
On this note, the general public are by this notice advised not to have any deal or engagement with the said National Union of Imo State Students(NUISS) as the union is a fraudulent one and its formation is for political gains and a tool to distract Governor Emeka Ihedioha's administration, by a gullible, greedy and selfish fellow named G. T. Samuel the then S.A on Students Affairs to the immediate past administration and aided by the agent of pain to Imolites named Uche Nwosu.
To this end, the National President of Imo students still remains Comr. Anyaoha. Tochi C. and Imo Students do not recognize any other person(s) or group of persons outside the legitimate jurisdiction of NAISS.
National Association of Imo State Students will remain resilient in their fight for the interest of all Imo State Students.
