NANS Reacts To Flood Reports On AAUA Community causing loss of properties and injuries to scores of students

The National Association of Nigerian students, Ondo state Axis reacted to the Flood Reports On A.A.U.A Community, VAM Online News reports.

In a Reports reaching NANS as at now from A.A.U.A on the flood issue has been devastating.


The rain started around 6 P.M yesterday, Monday, 7th October, 2019 and rained heavily up till 9 P.M today, Tuesday, 8th October, 2019. 


The rain which fell heavily made a nearby stream around Medoline area, Akungba Akoko; break out and ran into the street causing havoc.


Unfortunately, Package Villa, an off-campus student hostel housing over 20 undergraduate of the university along Medoline area, Akungba-Akoko, collapsed causing loss of properties and injuries to scores of students. 


A lady, a student of the university, details not yet known as at time of compilation of this report, has been reportedly missing, an eyewitness, a fellow student who pleaded to be anonymous claimed the flood swept the lady into the bank raising fears and concerns. 


Another lady, Damilola, a student of English Education currently in her second year fainted and was rushed to a nearby hospital and as at now is reportedly stable.
   

Comr Babtee, Chairman NANS JCC ONDO STATE has placed a distress call to the Commissioner of Police, Ondo State and has informed him of the recent eye sore development and he has promised to move into action immediately. 


On such note Comr. Babtee asks every student to be on red alert and stay calm still. All student should find a high ground to stay clear from the chaos and keep in touch with loved ones.
