Akintoye Defeat Tinubu To Emerge Yoruba Leader
A Second Republic Senator and Emeritus Professor of History, Adebanji Stephen Akintoye who has been elected as New Leader of Yoruba Land today.
Professor Akintoye is to replace late Abraham Adesanya who died in April 2008.
The New Yoruba Leader scored 71 votes against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who scored 3 votes.
