Prophet Akinsunlola marks church's anniversary as members of the Church were given interest free loans of #50,000 each- VAM News

The founder and overseer of Worldwide Prayer Centre International, Prophet Akinsunlola Ebenezer today at Akure in Ondo State ended the weeklong activities to mark his twenty five years on the pulpit and the first anniversary of the Akure branch of the Church.

The programme which had seen him presenting foodstuffs to over a hundred widows in Idanre two days ago, started with praise worship led by Ms Gift Dennis and arrival of important dignitaries like Oba Alara of Ilara mokin, Chief Hon Banji Akinkuowo and his wife, Hon  Ronke Akinkuowo, and Princess Nike Aroloye Akingboye, Iyaloja of Idanre Kingdom and many others.  

Presentations were made by the children section of the Church which is located along Oluwatuyi Quarters, Akure while Erujeje, who came right down from United Kingdom also set the stage with inspirational songs with occasional jokes. 

   

In his brief speech, Prophet Akinsunlola called for more dedication from his ministers and reminded the people to rely on God for their needs. According to him, the get rich quick syndrome is destroying the society and he lamented that some people even went to the extent of stealing in the house of God.

He later announced the names of some members of the Church who were given interest free loans of #50,000. 00 each to be returned at very convenient terms. 

    

In his sermon, Pastor Lugard Oluwadero,  quoting Psalm 3 verse 3, told the congregation that the world is a terrible place where only the power of Jesus Christ could save us from the calamities of this world which Satan brings from time to time. 

      

Prophet Akinsunlola Ebenezer used the occasion to announce the new management organ of the Church which he charged Pastor Lugard Oluwadero, his long time friend now in CAC fold to be helping him to monitor regularly. 

    

Gifts of various types were given to all present along with refreshments before the grace was said together with assurance from the Idanre born, now international Prophet of God, that next year's edition will be more interesting than this- Agbelusi Ganiyu reporting for Idanre Media Service @190519
