Controversy as Bishop Oyedepo Says He Won't Take COVID-19 Vaccine, Reveals Reasons
Despite the efforts by the federal government to vaccinate Nigerians against the COVID-19 disease, Bishop David Oyedepo has said he would not take the vaccine.
The cleric who presides over the Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners’ Chapel, said he is not a guinea pig.
Bishop David OyedepoThe Cable reported that the religious leader made the statement on Saturday, April 17, during the church’s Covenant Hour of Prayer programme.
The cleric argued that the church has the answer to some of the challenges facing the world. He pointed out that it is immoral to force people to take the vaccine.
Oyedepo said: ''I have never seen a generation where you force people to take vaccines. It is inhuman; it is immoral sir. I’m not a lawyer but I don’t think it is legal. You can’t come to my house and want to give me injection. “

According to The Punch, the cleric noted that his job is to expose the devil and its agents.
Oyedepo insisted that he owed no one an apology for rejecting the vaccine.
He said: “No apologies. There is a big, big bird in our land, saying ‘don’t take it, they are deceivers’. Let me see someone who will come and inject me. By who?
Are you going to tie my hands? How? Did I invite you?
I know you are quiet, you will hear more of it. My job is to expose the devil and tell his agents, ‘get off, we are not guinea pigs’.”

I love everything about My Bishop. Am not a member of Living Faith Church but I love everything he stood for. Have known him for years and he has never waiver on issues bothering our society.
