Breaking: Many feared dead as 18-passengers bus plunges into Ondo river

Many feared dead in a fatal accident that occurred this afternoon following the incident of an 18 seated bus crashed into Owena river along Akure-Ondo road in Ondo state.

An eyewitness told our journalist that the driver of the bus coming from Ondo axis and heading to Akure lost control as a result of over speeding and rammed into the owena river.

According to witness; five of the passengers including a child have been rescued to hospital by motorists and men of the FRSC while some of the passengers have lost their lives at the scene.

The number of the casualties is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing in this report but some dead people were seen inside the river and rock around beside the scene.
