Everton vs Tottenham: Mourinho's side suffers as Bernard scores winner to defeat Spurs in FA Cup

Experienced football manager Jose Mourinho and his wards at Premier League side Tottenham have been sent out of this season's FA Cup after losing 5-4 against Everton on Wednesday night, February 10.

It was a tough encounter which could have gone either way considering the superb attacking style of football these two teams played in this FA Cup tie.

Everton went into this match after forcing Manchester United into a draw in a tough Premier League game and their morale was high to face Tottenham.

However, it was Tottenham who scored the first goal in this game through Davinson Sanchez who got a brilliant assist from Heung-Min Son.

The visitors came back into this game in the 36th minute with a stunning goal by Dominic Calvert-Lewin who was assisted by Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Richarlison scored the second goal for Everton in the 36th minute before Gylfi Sigurdsson netted the third goal for Carlo Ancelotti side in the 43rd minute.

Erik Lamela and Davinson Sanchez pulled two goals back for Tottenham in what was an interesting night.

Richarlison scored the fourth goal for Everton and minutes later, Harry Kane restored parity for Spurs before Bernard netted the winner in the extra time.
