Europa League: Big tension as 2 Manchester stars disagree in training
Complacency appears to have kicked in Man United camp just hours to their second leg Europa League meeting with Real Sociedad.
United are scheduled to take on the La Liga giants on Thursday night, February 24, with a place in the last 16 at stake.
The Red Devils take a 4-0 advantage into the tie, having secured the huge win in the reverse fixture played in Turin.
But just hours to the encounter, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have had a tense situation to calm down after two of his senior players had a spat during training.
Mirror UK reports long-term friends Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw's competitive sides came to the fore at the tail end of a rondo session.
The drill involves players on one team avoiding being dispossessed the ball through tackles from another team via one-touch passing.
The publication revealed it was the turn of Dan James and Shaw to make an interception, with the latter appearing to have been convinced he had collected a stray tough from Maguire.
However, Harry Maguire argued his case, sparking an altercation that saw Shaw throw the ball in frustration after a coach sided with the Manchester United skipper.
The two would make up later after the session and were pictured all smiles as they wound up training.
Meanwhile, Ole Solskjaer is expected to tweak his squad ahead of the Sociedad encounter, with the youth expected to get some minutes under their belts.
Highly-rated youngsters Amad Diallo and Shola Shoretire are among those expected to feature in this game.
