NCDC raises fresh concern as Nigeria records 22 deaths,1,861 new infections
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has reported 1,861 new coronavirus infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed this via its verified Twitter account on Wednesday night.
The centre also confirmed the nation recorded 22 deaths, bringing the current fatality toll to 1,544, thereby raising concern over Nigerian's continuous flouting of the Covid-19 protocols.
NCDC disclosed that Lagos recorded the highest toll with 773 cases, followed by FCT, 285.
