BREAKING: Nigerian lawmaker escapes assassination in Osun

Nigeria's lawmaker, a Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District, Adelere Oriolowo escaped an assassination attempt on Sunday as unknown gunmen barged him and entourage at his Constituency.

According to report, the attack occurred at Ikire, Irewole local government area of Osun State.

Oriolowo said his assailants attempted to assassinate him.

He posted on his Facebook page, “Just escaped an Assassination attempt on my life and that of my entourage. To God be the glory, we are safe and alive.

“God is my helper, my shelter and my fortress, I fear no evil.”
