BREAKING: Lagos confirms 807 new cases as FG registers 1,565 new COVID-19 infections
The federal government has announced one thousand five hundred and sixty five (1565) new cases of coronavirus infections in Nigeria.
This was contained in a statement released by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official Twitter account, Thursday evening.
The statement revealed a new record high for Lagos State which had hitherto been the epicenter in the country with a whopping 807 new cases. FCT also recorded 236 new cases while Kaduna State recorded 79 new coronavirus infections.

Jigawa, Osun, Ekiti, Imo, Borno, and Kano are States that recorded 10 and below new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
The NCDC report also revealed that total number of Corronavirus infections in Nigeria is now 95, 938. Out of these cases 77, 982 patients have been treated and discharged from Isolation centres across the country, while 1330 deaths have sadly been recorded.
