Update: Reactions troop in over Buhari's Aide, Abike Dabiri tweet on #Bringbackourboys

The kidnapping of Government Science Secondary School Students in Kankara, Katsina State, has brought different reactions among societal groups and government officials.

Barely 24 hours after the kidnapping of the boys, the Governor of the Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari, announced that a total number of three hundred and thirty-three students were kidnapped from the school.

On Monday, 14th December, 2020. The president, Muhammadu Buhari, received more briefing on the student kidnapping with assurance from Governor Masari of steady progress to bring them back unharmed. The Governor also noted that security agencies had located the position of the children.

Meanwhile, the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, stated in a tweet that; some of the returning students debriefed by the military disclosed that 10 of their colleagues were taken by the bandits.

The Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri Erewa, At 2:52pm, through her verified twitter handle stated that, the 333 boys captured in Katsina State have been rescued, giving credit to the President Muhammadu Buhari's Adminstration.

At 2:52pm, Sahara Reporters released a video of how Boko Haram Abducted Katsina School boys.

At 3:26pm, Hon Abike Dabiri tweet, that her earlier tweet was not her handle, that it may be a fake one out there. This sparked different reactions among people.

At 3:40pm, She tweet again, saying that no post on Katsina boys should be credited to her twitter handle. Saying she lost control of her handle in the last couple of minutes along with her Instagram. She also stated she has recovered and changed her password.
