Confusion At Ondo Tribunal As Lawyer's Driver Suffers Bloody Attack

It was a confusion on Tuesday during the sitting when a driver of one of the counsel of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mr. Sola Oke was attacked outside the premises of the Ondo state Governorship election petition tribunal sitting Akure, Newstrack has reported.

Sunday Oladunmoye was attacked by some thugs believed to be Members of Nigeria Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

The quick arrival of the military and other security agencies in response to call for reinforcements saved the situation.

Soldiers, policemen and other security agents chased away the hoodlums.

The High Court complex was cordoned off with radius of about 100 meters, and shop and office owners were cautioned to prevent gathering of more than two persons within their premises.
