How Ex-House Of Reps Candidate In Oyo Killed By Gunmen

Some gunmen have murdered an ex House of Representatives candidate in Oyo State.

VAM News assembled that Dr. Fatai Aborode, was killed Friday night.

He contested the House of Representatives election on the platform of the Accord Party in 2015.

Our correspondent learnt on Saturday that Aborode, who as of late defected to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was killed close to his farm, along Apodun town in Iganagan town in Oyo State.

Our journalist discovered that Aborode was repeatedly fired by the gunmen suspected to be criminals.

Source uncovered that Aborode and his manager were attacked on their way back home by the aggressor suspected to be Fulani herders.

However, Public Relations Officer of the State Police force, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi, when reached said that he has no details of the incident

Fadeyi in an answer noticed that he has not gotten details of the occurrence.
