FG Issues New Guidelines In The Federal Capital Territory



The Federal Government through the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Bello, has directed the market management, limited and the various market associations in Abuja to work together in carrying out sensitization activities.


In a statement released by the Minister's Chief Press Secretary, Anthony Ogunleye, in Abuja, the Minister issued new guidelines to Offices, Worship Centres, Transportation and among others, as the Federal Capital Territory prepares for a second wave of the pandemic.


He also stated that, regulations guiding the operations of entertainment, recreation centres and places of worship still stands, as head of churches are to ensure compliance.


Public Transportation facilities must also obey protocols. Mandatory temperature checks must be carried out on all workers and business owners in Abuja.


All office and business premises must have a hand washing point with running water, soap and hand sanitizer.


Employees who are feeling unwell or exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 should notify their office or stay at home and seek medical attention.
