Fantastic as Nigerian star inspires Barcelona to 9-0 victory over giants Spanish League side

Nigerian forward Asisat Oshoala continued his impressive display for Barcelona Femeni in the Spanish women's league.

The 26-year-old found the back of the net for the Catalan ladies in the 81st minute in their 9-0 humiliation of Santa Teresa at the Johan Cryuff Stadium.

And this has taken her tally in the Spanish topflight to three goals after seven appearances so far this campaign.

The Super Falcons attacker was unlucky earlier in the game after watching her superb scissors kick bounce on the crossbar in the 77th minute.

Meanwhile, Oshoala's superb strike wrapped up her side's 9-0 triumph over Juan Carlos Antunez's ladies on home turf.

Lluis Cortes' ladies maintain their leadership on the log with 21 points after seven games - the same points as second-place Atletico Madrid who have played 10 matches so far.

Jennifer Hermoso stole the show after scoring four stunning goals all in the space of the first 45 minutes of their meeting.

While Lieke Martens also showed the quality she is made of by scoring a hattrick in the 10th, 16th, and 25th minutes respectively.

However, Mariona Caldentey also registered her name on the scores sheet just moments before the opening half came to an end as the only goal scored in the second half was from the Super Falcons star.

The 26 year old, Nigerian star is among the players nominated for the first-ever UEFA Women's Team of the Year award.
