Ondo inferno: Lawmaker sympathises with Victims
The Honorable lawmaker representing the wonderful and good people of Akoko North West constituency 2 at the Ondo State House of Assembly Hon.Taofik Oladele Mohammed has put smile on the faces of the victims of the rainstorm that Occurred in Ogbagi Akoko, Akoko North West area of Ondo state when it gave Cash support to those who suffered losses and to those whose buildings were damaged by the rainstorm In the community.
In a statement sent to VAM News by Akeem kayode Onibalusi, the media Aide, the lawmaker implored beneficiaries not to divert the cash to mundane things, but for the purpose for which it was meant for, and to be judiciously used for the purpose of rebuilding their damaged houses.
The lawmaker noted that the day that the incident occurred was a sad day to him and many residents of the community because of the level of damage,he implored resident to remain calm and peaceful, promising that the victims would be adequately catered for. Hon.Mohammed equally urged the federal government especially the national emergency Management agency to come speeding to their aid.
One of the beneficiaries Samuel Gbenga thanked the lawmaker for the support.
