[BREAKING] Strike: Nigerian Govt Shifts Ground, Offers ASUU Cumulative Sum Of N65bn

After several hours of deliberation over the strike by Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), the Federal Government has made some adjustments, offering a cumulative sum of N65billion to universities.

The amount is meant to address the demands relating to Revitalisation funds and Earned Allowances.

Although the strike still persist, the meeting which held at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment was however adjourned to Friday next week, where stakeholders would further concretize the resolutions.
