School resumption: Ondo Govt says Schools would reopen soon

Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu said schools in the state are to remain closed for now amidst EndSARS protest nationwide.

VOICE AIR MEDIA learnt that the Governor made this known at a news conference at the government house ground in Akure.

Recall Mr Governor has directed that all schools that resumed on Monday 19th October 2020 are closed for the meantime from 21st October 2020 because of the engulfing nationwide protest and the need to ensure safety of our students and staff.

Again, he said resumption of schools would be announced soon.

Earlier, this newspaper reported that the peaceful protests nationwide has turned violence in some states across the nation and Ondo state is included.

Some of the shuttle free school buses were destroyed and damaged by fire in the state.
