New fuel price, Electricity tarrif increase: "It is totally inconvenient to all Nigerians" - APC Youths Organization Hints Minister of Petroleum, Head of NERC

OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT MUHAMMED BUHARI AS MINISTER OF PETROLEUM ON THE INCREMENT OF FUEL PUMP PRICE THAT RISED TO #151.56 AND AS THE HEAD TO DETERMINE NEW PRICE OF ELECTRICITY TARRIF BY NATIONAL PRESIDENT APC YOUTHS ORGANIZATION COMRADE AMB OGUNOLU SAMSIDEEN.O (AS A CONCERNED YOUTH AND CITIZEN).

We really appreciate your supportive action towards the approval of every November 1st as National Youths day and also all infrastructure and other projects going on in all this country may God continue to be with you and give you more wisdom.










It is totally inconvenient to all Nigerians in this era of pandemic period to encounter such barbaric and difficulties in this current situation to increase both petroleum and electricity tariff it is deadly acts and seriously frustrated because there is scarcity of money already that increase poverty currently to add this new fuel price and electricity tariff it will cause a lots of problem which states below.


1.       Increase in transportation that maybe double even presently the new price of transport as a result of Covid 19 is unbearable not to talk of additional increment of fuel price, it is totally inconvenient.


2.       It will cause scarcity of foods because the price of food in the market will be too exorbitant.


3.       Monetary aspect will be scared and not stable that may affect our economy standardization.











Therefore, I am using this medium to call the attention of the Mr. president to critically look into this situation of both new electricity tariff and new fuel price respectively no to bring disaster to the situation already on ground in our country because in this present hardship period 80% Nigerians are managing by struggle for living so as a concerned youth I am not comfortable with this new prices so I am pleading on behalf of Nigerians to the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria to work on the reversed by reducing this electricity tariff and fuel price for the betterment of our people.










More so, Remember we voted for you in 2015 and 2019 respectively expecting you to pay us back conveniently and not inconveniently and this lamentation all over the country can affect APC as the party that you are representing because when “there is hungry there is angry” so Mr president kindly I will advise you to go back to a drawing table and resolve this new prices and give us what we are expecting “at the right time in the right place”.


In view of this we will be glad,if you can call for a round table meeting to those who are concerned, all decision makers, minister and others......to review this adversity decision for the mercies in order to assuage people worriesto give we citizens the expected things and not frustration because too much frustration can bring unbearable situation.
