Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Cross 49,000 With New 298 Infections, One More death

Nigeria’s COVID-19 infections on Thursday crossed 49, 000 with the country reporting 298 cases recorded on Sunday.
With the Total of 49,068 COVID-19 cases as posted by NCDC revealed that Nigeria about to enter 1,000 deaths if casualties increase in the next few days the current 975 deaths recorded.
NCDC revealed these figures in a tweet in the official Twitter page of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Sunday night, where a total of 36,497 patients has reportedly been discharged, with 11,596 active patients still at isolation centres across the nation.
In the latest record released by the NCDC, Plateau State top the list of infections for the second time in the week with 108 new cases, while Kaduna and Lagos came second and third with 49 and 47 new cases respectively.
