Ondo 2020: Former Lawmaker, Adelami's supporter attacked, Property destroyed

Ondo state Governorship Aspirant, Chief Olayide Adelami's supporter, Engr. Musa Mukaila, also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC was attacked today.
Engr. Musa, who is a former member representing Owo state constituency II in the Ondo State House of Assembly, was attacked near S.O filling station, Ijebu-Owo, while returning from the police station to make a formal complaint about an earlier attack on a campaign vehicle branded for his principal, Chief Adelami.
The vehicle parked in front of a barbing salon beside RCCG, Success Parish, near Adaba junction, Idasen-Owo, was destroyed by the political thugs, who shot sporadically into the air to scare away people.
It was gathered that the armed thugs who have been allegedly moving round Owo in recent times to unleash terror.
Adelami is an indigene of Owo who is seeking to win the ticket of his All Progressives Congress (APC).
One of the campaign members confirmed that “Chief Adelami, reputed to be a man of peace, has instructed that the matter be reported to the police and a complaint was immediately lodged at the A-division of the Nigerian Police, Ijebu-Owo, while the vehicle has been towed to the facility.
Efforts to get the reaction of the state Police spokesman, Mr Tee-Leo Ikoro as at the time of filing in this report was proved abortive.
