Lagos state govt issues new directive for social, Entertainment centres










THE Lagos state government has issued a new directive for the gradual reopening of the economy, in order not to boycott the health guidelines of the Covid-19.









Recall, that last week, the government took further steps in easing the restrictions on public gathering.


Like other state, Lagos State has began to issue new directives in the easing of  restrictions on public gathering, it has therefore directed all social and entertainment centres, such as clubs, gyms, parks, spas etc  to register their company buy providing the Business/ Entity name etc. The registration can be done via

The State government has stated it's reasons for new directive which is to monitor the organization closely by making sure protocols like Social distancing, use of facemasks, non essential employees and cleanliness are observed. The State Government therefore urge all Social and Entertainment centers owners to register their organizations.


The State Government directed the Lagos State Government safety Commission Ministry to follow up on the Registered organization and prosecute defaulters who either fails to register or fails to observe protocols.









Recall that Lagos state Government has directed Public workers from grade 1-12. to work from home and stay away from office. And also directed the private companies to now work from 7am - 6pm and also work in shift to avoid overcrowding.
