Gunmen Kidnap Nine in Ondo, demand N100M from one victim's family

No fewer than Nine Persons travelling in a Toyota Sienna space bus were today Kidnapped by Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen in Ondo state.
The passengers who were on their way to Lagos were abducted at Isua area in Akoko south east local government area of the state.
Spokesman of the the state police command, Tee-Leo Ikoro, said one of the victims has been rescued.
A family member of one of the victim, Bamidele Ojo, confirmed that the kidnappers have demanded N100m ransom.
The police spokesman said efforts were on to ensure release of other victims.
He added that the police were working with hunters, local vigilante and other agencies to ensure their safe release.
