Edo 2020: PDP postpones Primary election over Obaseki's move

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed its governorship primary in Edo.
Its spokesman, Kola Ologbodiyan, stated this in a tweet on Thursday.
The primary was slated for Monday, June 22.
Recall that PDP chairman in Edo state made an announcement earlier Obaseki’s membership card was ready.
Although as of the time of filling this report, the reason for the postponement was not stated, it was gathered it may be connected with the defection of Governor Godwin Obaseki any moment from now.
