Osun LG Chairman Denies Security-Abuse allegations in LGA

Chairman, Oriade Local Government area of Osun state, Hon. Bunmi Obeisun, on Saturday disassociated himself from the rumour and allegations of bringing thugs to the local government as stated by some naysayers within the local government who are spreading false information and allegations about the chairman, VOICE AIR MEDIA has obtained.
“Hon Obeisun vowed to take legal actions on anyone found guilty of instigating this falsehood if he/she fails to withdraw the statement”, part of the statements as received by the NATIONNEWSLEAD through a press release issued by his media aides, reads:
"Our attention has been drawn to the false claim that Oriade local government chairman, Hon. Bunmi Obeisun has hired thug to disturb the peace of the local government.
“The sole aim of this allegation is to mar the reputation and discredit the credibility of the local government chairman. We therefore stand firm and in one voice vehemently refute the allegation. Hon. Obeisun is a peace maker that want progress for the people of his local government and if those naysayers have a tangible evidence to prove to the security personnel about the allegation that he brings 9 thugs to Oriade local government they are free to forward it to the nearest police station in the local government or write the Division Police Officer (DPO).
However, Hon. Obeisun vowed to take legal actions on anyone found guilty of instigating this falsehood if he/she fails to withdraw the statement.
“To this end we urge the public to disregard the false claim by the naysayers that the perpetrator of the dastardly act.
