Ondo Commissioner, Olowolabi distributes financial palliative to widows and vulnerable ones

Ondo State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Yemi Olowolabi had earlier today given financial palliative to numerous widows, physically challenged and numerous other vulnerable people in Idanre, Ondo State. In all, a total of 200(Two hundred) people received #5000.00( Five thousand Naira) only each, Agbelusi Ganiyu Reports.
Before the commencement of the event, the Hon. Commissioner paid a courtesy visit to the Owa of Idanre, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV (JP) OFR, Owa of Idanre Kingdom and paramount ruler of Idanre Kingdom, who commended Hon. Yemi Olowolabi's kind gesture and prayed for the quick eradication of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
During the event held in the Owa of Idanre's palace, Hon. Yemi Olowolabi, said that Governor Arakunrin Odunayo Akeredolu had made landmark achievements, especially in Idanre Local Government as could be seen in his opening of the new Technical road, Idanre linking Ijoka Road in Akure as well as tarring of many Idanre township roads as well as appointing many Idanre sons and daughters in political offices and also in the civil service. He called on all APC members to consolidate on the goodwill that the Governor had established by working for the party's candidate in the coming Local Government election.
Earlier, Hon. Olumide Adeuti, APC Chairman in Idanre L.G., had thanked the Hon. Commissioner and called on political appointees to also give such palliative gestures to the people during this COVID -19 pandemic. He saw it as a glorious event and appealed to those who do not benefit yet to take it easy as they would be accommodated in subsequent ones.
Mr. Rotimi Ajidagba, with visual challenge, was one of the beneficiaries and he prayed profusely for the success of Hon. Commissioner Yemi Olowolabi and ultimate victory of APC that will usher it to go into next level.
In the same manner, Mr. Gbademola 'Sina, who is physically challenged, also rained torrents of prayers on both Hon. Yemi Olowolabi and the party.
Mrs Margaret Ayodeji was full of joy as she revealed that the money was timely as she had nothing with her and assured that she will rededicate herself to the success of APC and its leaders.
Hon. Adesemoye Adeola Marcus, alias "Kila," the Special Adviser (Admin.) to the Hon. Commissioner said the Commissioner has always been a generous person with large heart for his people as he has been empowering and giving people things in the past without publicity. He assured that Idanre people, especially the APC members, are solidly behind Governor Akeredolu for his next political move of another term in office as Governor of Ondo State.
