Nigerian graduate manufactures Solar Hand Washing sink and others to aid fight against COVID19










A Nigerian man, Richard Ozobo, from Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta state has manufactured a Hand Washing sink to aid fight against COVID19, VAM News reports.


Richard is a graduate of Political science from Niger Delta University, Bayelsa state.

 As part of his efforts towards developing home grown solution to the fight against the  Coronavirus pandemic which has been on rage  in different parts of the world; sending the whole universe to a compulsory break/holiday.










This innovation is indeed a great breakthrough in fighting against the Coronavirus pandemic;  Social distancing, hand washing, and other preventive measures.


The Hand washing sink was made from a local products, one with solar.


By now, many of us are taking steps to protect ourselves from infection. This likely includes frequent handwashing, regularly cleaning frequently touched surfaces, and social distancing.










Current WHO recommendations emphasize the importance of rational and appropriate use of all PPE,20 not only masks, which requires correct and rigorous behavior from health care workers, particularly in doffing procedures and hand hygiene practices.










21 WHO also recommends staff training on these recommendations,22 as well as the adequate procurement and availability of the necessary PPE and other supplies and facilities.











Finally, WHO continues to emphasize the utmost importance of frequent hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette, and environmental cleaning and disinfection, as well as the importance of maintaining physical distances and avoidance of close, unprotected contact with people with fever or respiratory symptoms.
