Army Chief: Olowu of Kuta Commiserates with Buratai over Mother's Death

The Olowu of Kuta and Chairman of Owo Council of Oba and Chiefs, Oba Hammed Adekunle Makama Oyelude has commiserated with the Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Tukur Yusuf Buratai over the death of his mother, Kakah Hajja.
The matriarch died on Tuesday, May 5th and has been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
In his condolence letter to Lt General Buratai and Yusuf Buratai family, Oba Makama described the late Kakah Hajja as selfless woman who contributed immensely to the growth and development of her children, grandchildren, the community and humanity at large.
The letter reads, "I wish to on behalf of the entire people of Kuta Kingdom, my Council and Family, convey our heartfelt condolences to you, your brothers and sisters and indeed the entire Alhaji Yusufu Buratai family, over the loss of their matriarch, Kakah Hajja, who transited to the great beyond, yesterday Tuesday, 5" of May 2020.
"There is no doubt that her demise is very painful, and a sad blow to the family, but as Muslims we take solace in the fact that death is incumbent on everyone and that she lived an exemplary life. Indeed, Kakah Hajja contributed immensely to the development of human capital, the growth of the economy and commercial activities of Buratai town and beyond.
"She exemplified selflessness, dedication and commitment to humanity.
"Therefore, as her children and grandchildren, you should all be very proud and grateful for her accomplishment and continue to pray for her. May the Almighty Allah grant her jannah Firdausi and continue to give you and the entire family the courage and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
"Accept the esteem of my royal greetings, and condolences, please."
