Panic hits Ekiti As Man Allegedly Kills Amotekun Official - roundoff

   
Pandemonium broke out today in Erijiyan Ekiti, in Ekiti West Local Government area of Ekiti State as a middle aged man known as Kehinde Awosusi was said to have allegedly murdered a motorcyclist believed to be an official of newly formed Amotekun Corps.

As reported by roundoffnews,  Some youths of the community who were angered by the development went on rampage destroying houses and attacking innocent people.


Members of the community were seen running helter skelter for the lives.


Trouble started after the deceased who was riding a motorcycle slightly hit a woman at Erijiyan.



Roundoffnews gathered that the motorcyclist stopped to assist the victim but she insisted on calling her son on the phone to notify him about the incident.


On getting to the spot the son of the woman Kehinde Awosusi was alleged to have carried a heavy stick and hit the motorcyclist on his head.



The man who is a member of the Western Nigeria Security Network code named Amotekun was drenched in blood and gave up while he was being rushed to the hospital.


At the moment the alleged murderer and his mother have been arrested by the police for further investigation.
