Anambra Government urges citizens not to panic over tanker to loaded with PMS which fell at Nsugbe

ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

 

The office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Anambra State on Petroleum and Union Matters wishes to inform Ndi Anambra  not to panic over the fully loaded petroleum tanker truck which fell down at Nsugbe, along  Nsugbe Otuocha road as Hon. Peter Nwosu, the SSA to the Governor on petroleum and Union Matters alongside, the men of Anambra State fire service and other security agencies have ensured that the incident is curtailed without any loss of life.

Ndi Anambra who are in essential services are requested to continue with their daily routine as there is no cause for alarm.

All petroleum tanker drivers who are bringing petroleum products into Anambra State are further informed to call the office of the SSA to the Governor on petroleum whenever there is a case of extortion of money by the security agencies in any of the boundary in Anambra State through the phone line *08066382000*.

The Anambra State Government is committed to improving the welfare of Anambrarians and will not tolerate any form of human imposed hardship on the citizens.
