THE Adamawa state Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has lost his mother, Hajiya Fatima Badami, VoiceAir Media has gathered.

A statement by the state’s Director-General, Media and Communications, Solomon Kumangar, said the late Mrs Hajiya Fatima Badami gave up the ghost on Wednesday.
She was 68-year-old.
According to reports, She died at the Federal Medical Centre Yola, the state capital, while undergoing treatment for a protracted illness.
The state’s Director-General, Media and Communications, said, "Her death at this critical moment creates a huge vacuum not only for the immediate family but the entire state."
