UNIZIK suspends Chinese course in the institution

The Nnamdi Azikiwe University , Awka, Anambra State , has suspended a Chinese course in the institution amid fear of coronavirus.


UNIZIK Vice - Chancellor, Prof Charles Esimone, said this on Monday during the 14 th pre - convocation press conference of the school.


He said they had also told their Chinese lecturers who travelled home not to return to the university while those around had been barred from travelling.


The VC said the Chinese course under Confucius institute of the university would now be run online.
