PRAISE be to Almighty Allah, the cherisher and sustainer of TODAY, yesterday, tomorrow and Everyday, the one who created the heavens and Earth. The uncreated creature, the unprotected protector, he who has created light and darkness. We praise him, we adore him for the opportunity avail to us to appreciate him TODAY.

It is a great honour and pleasure to be here to address such a noble gathering of leaders of great intellect from around the nook and corner of this great country. We thank the Convener of Today's Leaders Forum Comrade Mudashiru Hammed Abiola (AFRICA TALKING DRUM) for founding this group and for giving us the opportunity to plan and execute this glorious occasion, which is held in celebration of its 6th anniversary. We wish the Forum a joyous 6th anniversary, and many more by the special grace of God Almighty.

Without you, there is no TLF, we appreciate all leaders who as in one way or the other contributed to the success story of TLF either as an Anchor, guest, presenter, listener, observer among other stakeholders. Thanks for been part of the family, we are proud of you and we happy to have you around us.

With six full years of excellent achievements behind it, the Forum is a proven leader in out of classroom leadership education and capacity building. Over the years, it has also partnered with people from different field of life, frontline AgriPRENEUR/farmers, educationist / academicians, medical and health practisioner, media and other professional groups in pursuit of quality leadership out of classroom education for we TODAY'S LEADER.

Well, T.O.D.A.Y. are exactly what this year anniversary is about.

Time Opportunities Development Aged and the Youths (TODAY)

The theme is great as it consist of vital words that correlates.

In the save vein, it portray the vison of the forum and doesn't look bias as youth movement alone.

Time is very critical. The Noble Scholar Shaykh 'Abdil 'Azīz bin Bāz stated: "Time is LIfe. And whoever has wasted his time has wasted his life. And whoever has wasted his life has regret. However, the regret does not benefit him."

Opportunities is time based.

Development is a process which takes place as a result of opportunities utilized positively

Aged had the opportunities but in her hand but with time...

Youth are the Change Agent and leaders of TODAY.

TODAY 2020, is a dream come true.

I must say this, we must be trained to accept responsibility that we are accountable for, we must start TODAY, not later not tomorrow, because being responsible TODAY makes us a successful somebody.

Remember Tomorrow starts TODAY.

I would also like to recognize my esteemed anniversary committee for their untiring efforts and support in making this a success. Their leadership and expert input at every juncture and milestone of this historic process have been instrumental to the ongoing success of T. O. D. A. Y.
