Sholay Donates Solar powered Street Light worth of N2m To A community in Ondo

Mr. Akinsohun Clement alias "Sholay" had recently commissioned the solar powered street lights which he built along FMC Zone 1, Opa Idanre in Ondo State, VAM News reports.
While speaking with Agbelusi Ganiyu of Idanre Media Service, earlier today, Mr. Akinsohun Clement, who is an Idanre based Chairman/ MD of Group of industries including timber, Cocoa produce, fisheries and table water production, revealed that he has constructed the street lights because he believes in helping to solve the problems of his people and this has become his habit.
Our investigation revealed that the project cost almost two million Naira (#2,000,000.00).
This revelation led to a question whether he had done it because of his intention to go into politics and he replied that he did not intend to go into politics but will always be ready to help identify and solve problems facing his people from part of the blessings of God in his life.
He said he believed that people should no more expect government to provide everything for them.
It can be recalled that Mr. Akinsohun Clement had been rendering philanthropic activities in different manners in Idanre in the past.
Some of these are awarding of scholarships and bursaries to many poor and indigent students of Idanre origin especially since over two decades, facilitating foreign studies and sojourning of many Idanre youths and his latest donations of cash and lorry loads of planks to the on going Idanre General Hospital Project.

One of the residents of the street, Mrs Bose Akin (real name withheld), who spoke with Idanre Media Service earlier today shortly after the commissioning said, Mr. Akinsohun had done a great thing for them in the area as she can always do her hairdressing business into the night more conveniently now unlike before and prayed God will continue to bless him.
