Prince Kayode Promises New Dawn Of Accelerated Development

Prince Kayode Aroloye had recently promised that Idanre Local Government will  witness a new dawn of accelerated development when he assumes the Chairmanship position.

Prince Aroloye, who is contesting under APC platform, made this pledge during a media parley he held recently at his Broad Street residence in Odode Idanre. 

According to the veteran journalist, businessman of no mean repute and politician of note, with prudent and judicious management of its available resources, honesty of purpose and utmost dedication, Idanre Local Government can become the cynosure of eyes and miniature "Dubai" that people will be coming from near and far to come and see. 

He cited the exploits of Dr. Kayode Omishogbon, the Chief Medical Director of General Hospital, Idanre as an example of how a good and focused leader with fear of God at heart can turn things round within a short spate of time.

     

Prince Aroloye revealed that since Agricultural revolution remains a very great focal point of his administration, he will concentrate efforts on opening new rural roads to the farmsteads and villages. "When people, farmers are able to get to their farms and come back with ease, there won't  be much wastes as being experienced by farmers now. 

It is a pity that daily, tonnes of plantain, bananas, vegetables and some other perishable commodities are being wasted because of transportation problems. This calls for urgent and multi faceted approaches"

     

When Idanre Media Service asked how and what he intends to do differently, the Prince said he will first and foremost ensure the Grader lying fallow in the Local Government is brought back to life. This will save costs of rental,  either from individuals or government agencies as well as generate revenue for the. Local Government and above all, be able to work maximumly for our people, making the roads for them and thus facilitating their productions.

     

According to Prince Aroloye, "When farmers are making good returns, courtesy of the good road network and wastes are thus minimized, it will be easy for them to perform both of  their social and civic responsibilities and this will make our society the better. 

   

He revealed that he has been in liaison with some friends with firms in South Africa showing interests in our cocoa products and these people will need the raw materials to be brought to processing centres with ease and less stress, hence, I have to focus attention on opening the rural roads in our quest and determination to give Idanre accelerated development in our vision and mission of a new glorious dawn.

    

By the time he finished articulating his points on rural roads opening, reconstruction of old ones and how he intends to use these to boost  agriculture in Idanre Local Government, among other innovations, I felt convinced that this Prince Kayode Aroloye meant business...Agbelusi Ganiyu reporting for Idanre Media Service @ 100320
