COVID19: OBIANO WAKE UP, TAKE ACTION.

The preparedness of Anambra State Government towards safeguarding the state from the COVID19 pandemic is worrisome.

The recent plea by the various hospitals in Anambra State requesting for donation of medical equipment has exposed Obiano's poor leadership role.

Few weeks ago, Mr Willie Obiano used Anambra State fund to host the police games which has no economic impact to the state.

He was seen dancing in public regardless of several warnings about the impending danger of COVID19 looming around the corner.

Obiano failed to invest in the healthcare sector. Till now, Anambra state has no testing kits, His government is yet to take any decisive action to protect the state.

Obiano ordered for the closure of Anambra Market without adequate plan for the poor and vulnerable amongst the populace.

The purported distribution of 200 bags of rice to the elderly in Anambra State is not only an afterthought but a very poor way of cushioning the hardship occasioned by COVID19.

Several State Governors are taking the lead to ensure that their citizens are protected but alas, Obiano has quarantined himself while drinking the State resources away through expensive wines.

Where are the close advisers of Mr Willie Obiano, its high time to wake him up from his liquor induced slumber.

He should as a matter of urgency commence the building of isolation centres in the three senatorial districts.

 He is known as a frugal spender and the fear of all and sundry is that the recent donation by a commercial bank and other spirited Anambrarians cannot be safe under Willie Obiano.

Its high time, Willie should wake up, before it gets late.
