No to teenage pregnancy - Ondo Chairmanship candidate, Bankole Akinselure takes awareness to the street

Mr Bankole Akinselure, chairmanship candidate of the social Democratic party (SDP) in the local government of Idanre in Ondo state joined civil societies in a sensitization programme geared towards enlightening teens and parents the perils premarital sex habours in the Community on Saturday, 22nd February, VAM News reports.

However, it has been proven biologically that the sex drive increases at puberty stage, therefore if this isn't properly controlled with several measures such as the introduction of "sex education " which will definitely reveal to them the danger to be faced after the involvement in premarital sex; the repercussion of this act won't only reflect on the parties involved but ,will be extended to the nation in caboodle.
Most pregnancies conceived by females specifically the teens leads to abortion, which is one of the causes of death in Nigeria;
Nigeria as a nation is suffering from this menace; therefore for this to be declined and reduced among our teens, there is a necessity for the introduction of sensitization programme across all facet ranging from the metropolitan level to the rural level. And most inhabitants of the rural settlement are less updated, so this programme will go a long way serving as a turning point from this menace.
It took place at the Idanre local government of Ondo state cutting across strategic locations in the town; young girls were educated and enlightened on the importance of celibacy before marriage and cons of abortion.
